Our partnership with Motorhome Matt is one we’re proud and excited to have, so taking our partnership to the next level with a day of service at his stand to highlight our connection was great. We met so many new customers and Motorhome Matt Podcast listeners; it was a great chance to learn more about our customer base of motorhome and caravan lovers, and offer them solutions on how to protect what is most important to them with products made with anti-theft tracking technology.
Make sure to stay up to date with our partnership via our social media channels @scorpionautomotive and @motorhomemattpodcast so you don’t miss out on the next opportunity to see our partnership in person.
Vehicle Security Experts: Paul and Michelle
We wouldn’t have been able to do what we did at the Motorhome and Caravan Show without our Scorpion Automotive representatives, Paul and Michelle. The pair were able to deliver incredible service and information about our Thatcham-approved trackers and have conversations about some of our products, like the Defender range, which combines alarms and trackers as one.
We’d like to say a huge thank you for all their hard work and dedication over the course of the event, and we look forward to delivering the same level of extraordinary customer service to you in person at future events, where you’ll also be able to learn about how vehicle trackers work and why they help to improve vehicle recovery.
Motorhome and Caravan
In May 2025, it was announced that motorhome and caravan thefts were on the rise, according to the article Preventing Motorhome and Campervan Theft by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. They highlighted that from their findings delivered from Direct Line Insurance, that a van is stolen every 46 minutes in Britain – furthermore, in 2024 the DVLA emphasised that there was an average of 31 thefts a day, which is the equivalent of 11,250 vans being stolen at an estimated value of £200 million across England, Wales, and Scotland.
Additionally, the Caravan and Motorhome Club also published an accompanying article Motorhome Security and Safety – March 2025 Poll Reveal in May 2025, which highlighted that trackers and alarms fall into the security aspect that participants thought had the most impact on security.
