WE RECOVERED OVER £380K OF VEHICLES IN APRIL – SCORPIONTRACK RECOVERIES
At ScorpionTrack we have continued our strong start to 2026 with £380,950 worth of stolen vehicles successfully recovered during April.
Working alongside police forces across the UK, our dedicated Vehicle Recovery Specialists helped locate and recover a wide range of stolen vehicles, from premium SUVs and executive vehicles through to commercial vans and high-performance models.
The Metropolitan Police Borough responded to the highest number of vehicle theft incidents this month, highlighting the continued issue of organised vehicle crime across the UK. The most stolen vehicles recovered this month included several high-value and prestige models.
Among the targeted were:
- Bentley Bentayga
- Mercedes-Benz V220 Sport D Auto
- Alfa Romeo Stelvio
These vehicles continue to be attractive targets due to their value, desirability and increasing demand within organised vehicle crime networks.
VEHICLE THEFTS MOSTLY OCCURRED DURING THE DAYTIME
Recovery data from April showed that only 12% of vehicle thefts occurred during nighttime hours, meaning the majority of thefts took place during the daytime.

When reporting a stolen vehicle, you should first contact the police and obtain a Crime Reference Number (CRN). Once this is passed to our Vehicle Recovery Team, we can begin working directly with the relevant police force to track and recover your vehicle.
